Vijay Devarakonda scraps Hero

Right after the super success of Arjun Reddy, Mythri Movie Makers inked a three-film deal with Vijay Devarakonda. Their first collaboration Dear Comrade ended up as a dud after which the actor turned extra cautious. Even before the release of Dear Comrade, Vijay Devarakonda completed a schedule for the film Hero that is directed by Anand Annamalai. The final rush was not much impressive and Vijay Devarakonda suggested changes in the script too.

Anand narrated the script after making several changes. The recent narration too failed to impress Vijay Devarakonda and the actor decided to scrap the project. The makers already invested close to Rs 10 crores on the project. To compensate the loss, Vijay Devarakonda decided to do one more film for Mythri Movie Makers which will roll next year. He will complete the final schedule of World Famous Lover and will start shooting for Puri Jagannadh’s Fighter from January 2020.
