Rana Daggubati is currently on a break as he is all set to get operated for his right eye. He wrapped up the shoot of 1945 which is a periodic drama that will release during August. Rana is busy shooting for Haathi Mere Saathi which is a tri-lingual and is shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. Prabhu Soloman is the director of the movie which completed two major schedules in Thailand.
The latest news is that Bollywood beauty Kalki Koechlin has been roped in to romance Rana in the movie. The actress was quite excited about her role and gave an immediate nod. She will join the next schedule which will start in August. The entire shoot of this film will be wrapped up this year and will have huge dose of VFX work. The movie has been titled Aranyam in Telugu and is produced by Eros International. Aranyam will release early next year.
