Megastar Chiranjeevi and Koratala Siva are teaming up for the first time for a social drama which is titled Acharya. Ram Charan has been initially picked up for a crucial role in the film and he would have 30 minutes screen space for the film. With RRR delayed, Chiranjeevi and Koratala decided to replace Charan with Mahesh Babu. The talks too happened and Mahesh too gave his nod.
But the latest update says that SS Rajamouli agreed and asked Charan to shoot for Acharya and release the film in August. The makers are in plans to bring back Charan to the project and Koratala Siva will meet Mahesh and inform about the same. An official announcement too will be made by the makers at the earliest. Trisha is the heroine and Maisharma is the music composer for Acharya. The film is slated for August 14th release.
