Not fulfilled on one issue: Rajinikanth after gathering meeting

The gathering with the Rajini Makkal Mandram (RMM) region secretaries went off well aside from one angle on which he was not by and by fulfilled, said on-screen character turned-government official Rajinikanth here on Thursday. Addressing journalists here after the gathering, Rajinikanth said there were heaps of inquiries which he had replied and different perspectives were traded.

He said on one issue he was not by and by fulfilled and would unveil that sometime in the not too distant future. Questioned about his ongoing gathering with the pioneers of Tamil Nadu Jamathul Ulama Sabai (TNJUS), Rajinikanth said he had proposed them to meet Home Minister Amit Shah and examine the issue.

The individuals from TNJUS informed Rajinikanth of issues Muslims would look because of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), the National Population Register (NPR) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC).
