Monthly Stipend To Unemployed Youth in AP

CBN’s Cabinet on Thursday has come up with a new scheme to solve the increasing unemployment rate in the state. A historic decision was taken by the AP government to provide an monthly allowance of Rs 1000 to the unemployed youth in the state. The jobless youth will be getting this stipend until they find a job. Nearly 10 Lakh unemployed youth in the state will be eligible for this scheme. This scheme was launched with a budget of Rs 1200 crores.

Youth who have enrolled into the scheme will also be given skill training by government agencies until they find a suitable job that matches their qualification. Youngsters between the age group 22 to 35 are said to be benefitted from this scheme. The minimum educational qualification set for this new plan is graduation or equivalent diploma.
