Young actor Naga Shaurya had all his hopes on Aswathama that released last weekend. The actor himself penned the script and Aswathama was produced by his home banner IRA Creations. Naga Shaurya promoted the film well and the movie opened with decent footfalls all over. But the weekend numbers are not completely satisfactory. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo dominated the weekend box-office and Sarileru Neekevvaru has been decent.
Naga Shaurya’s Aswathama fell short of the magical line. The response is mixed and the film should do very good business in the weekdays to recover the investments. With several films releasing this Friday, Aswathama will have less time to prove well and mint money. Ramana Teja made his debut as the director with this action thriller and Mehreen played the female lead. Aswathama is all about crimes against women.
